Miss Toussaint was admitted as a Solicitor on 15th December 1989. She worked at the Law Society as an adviser in Professional Ethics and then returned to private practice in 1991. She worked for a number of firms in the West Midlands. Miss Toussaint has worked with legal aid clients and private clients for over 15 years.
